M. David Maconchy – Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer;

Mr. Maconchy has worked in the oil industry for over 30 years. Much of his early career through the 70’s and 80’s was spent in increasingly senior commercial and project management roles in UK sector, North Sea offshore development projects, working for major operators such as Burmah Oil, British National Oil Corporation, Britoil, Conoco and Amerada Hess.

In the early 90’s Mr. Maconchy worked on several major onshore projects in the Former Soviet Union, as a project manager and as a Director in a Russian/Swiss Joint Venture. Mr. Maconchy joined Moncrief Oil International in 1995 as a senior member of the management team working on international projects specifically in Russia and the Caspian region. He was appointed as CFO of the company in 2000. Mr. Maconchy gained a formal accounting qualification in the UK and has broad experience in corporate and project management and finance.
